Sensory habitat- what's the idea?

Let's build sensory rich experiences within the space that is home. Large or small, inside the living room or in the back yard, sensory experiences are possible!
Bounce on a bouncy ball, swing from a swing, get your hands o so sticky playing with slime! Listen to music, dance and feel your body move. Smell and taste a variety of food and feel their different textures. Push, pull and streeetch your muscles in all different ways!

Connect with this earth and your body by feeling it all. 

Sometimes it can be hard to find good sensory toys and equipment you can use in everyday life. There are so many engaging toys that we can use to create our own sensory habitats that work for us.  My Sensory Corner is a resource for you to gain ideas and methods to build your own sensory habitat that facilitates your individual needs. We hope to cater towards those that have an idea of what sensory needs they have, and possibly provide new ideas geared towards those sensory needs.

We recommend only the best products that work well and are hard to find to hopefully give you a hub to find what you are looking for.  

As we grow, we hope to give back to the community of special needs. At this time, we do not sell our own products, we only recommend what we use.  A portion of proceeds generated from products linked on our site will help our company grow. We hope to one day donate a portion of our profit to organizations that help those with special needs.

The tools and resources that we recommend are the same ones that we love to use ourselves, and we hope to share our success stories and possibly hear yours!
